HANDLE ME WITH CARE
I am made using 100% lead free, food safe glazes and materials.
Iβm designed to be dishwasher and microwave safe, but washing by hand will help me last longer. Use a soft scrub brush and dish soap, and avoid metal or abrasive sponges - ouch!
I am created of stoneware clay and fired to the temperature of 1240C, which means I am very capable of handling both hot and cold temperatures. However, if Iβm taken from one extreme temperature to the other quickly, it can cause my ceramic body to crack or break - ouch! Remember to slowly transition me from one temperature to the next, and you will avoid this circumstance.
